Performance Analysis of Real Estate Investment Trusts: Example of Turkey

Abstract

Because of the rise seen in the market construction and real estate sector in Turkey to prepare the
legal aspects of the infrastructure and the steps taken for the real estate appraisal real estate
appraisal it has gained a great importance too. With the adoption of International Valuation
Standards, it is aimed to make the valuation in a healthier way, to create a corporate real estate
finance system, to make the real estate value properly and to contribute to the formation of the
stocks in a correct and healthy manner. Data envelopment method was used in this research and
the performance analysis of real estate investment trusts was evaluated in Turkey with this
method.
