Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a scale to measure the experiences of students who have completed the National Internship Program (USP). The study's sample group consists of students who completed the USP at Kayseri University. A total of 167 students participated in the study, which used survey techniques. Based on the obtained data, the content validity of the measurement tool was examined first, and it was determined that all the statements met the accepted critical value of 0.778. The construct validity of the scale was examined using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis results. Exploratory factor analysis revealed that the scale converged under a single dimension, with adequate item factor loadings (0.698-0.942). Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the data were consistent with the model. Additionally, the scale's internal consistency coefficient was found to be 0.962, and its reliability over time was found to be 0.910. In conclusion, the findings from the scale indicate that the measurement tool is valid and reliable.
