Abstract

This study examines in detail the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) AI)-assisted ChatGPT in the field of accounting education and the opportunities and challenges that this utilisation may bring. ChatGPT can benefit by reducing error rates and improvi ng financial analysis processes through its ability to automate processes and tasks in accounting. In order to evaluate the role of ChatGPT in accounting education, a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods was used through a comprehensive lit erature review and the use of financial data. The literature review and the case study support that ChatGPT can be used as an important and effective tool in accounting education. Therefore, when some ethical issues such as privacy, security, intellectual property are addressed, the use of artificial intelligence intelligence-supported systems in accounting education can improve the quality and efficiency of education and create new opportunities.
